Above and Beyond is a privately owned hospital and is run by a doctor who has been a part of the Pearland community for the over the past ten years. Pearland has been very good to us and we promise to return the favor. As Pearland continues to grow, we promise to not only be a leader in pet care, but in the community as well. We offer not only state-of-the-art equipment, but also the best customer service experience you will find. Not only is our staff knowledgeable, but also exceptionally friendly. At Above & Beyond in Pearland, we believe in providing the best care for your pets. In order to do this, it cannot only be done with trips to the veterinarian but rather a comprehensive team effort between us at the veterinary clinic and you at home. We will work together with you in order to make sure that your pet is provided the best care. Raising a pet is hard and we want to help in any way that we can. We will not only provide outstanding care for your pet, but we will also supply you with the information you need to have a long, healthy life with your furry loved ones.

History

Established in 2019.

Dr. Cathy Cupples started her own practice on 4/29/2019. She wanted to establish not only a great place to practice outstanding medicine, but to allow herself to be a part of more family's lives. She prides herself in building lifelong relationships with her patients and loves being a part of their lives. In February of 2020, we were so lucky to add Dr. Pirela to our team. In June of 2022 we added Dr. Lagarde to our team. We have also had the privilege of working with great doctors such as Dr. Eickelman and Dr. Smith. We have been able to expand our business so quickly and attract such talented and caring doctors because what we have built here is something truly amazing. We are blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.

Dr. Catherine Cupples has over 8 years of experience practicing Veterinary Medicine in Pearland. She earned her DVM in 2012 from Texas A&M University while graduating not only Summa Cum Laude but at the top of her class. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Science and Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2008. She prides herself in building life-long relationships with her clients by practicing the best medicine for their pets. She enjoys spending time with her family and working out. In 2020, not only has our team grown, but Dr. Cupples was appointed as Vice Chairperson to the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee of the City of Pearland, TX.
