The level of care provided at Aggie Animal Dental Center rivals that of a world-class teaching hospital. Presence of a board-certified anesthesiologist allows us to treat high-risk patients, restoring their oral health and greatly improving their quality of life. We perform procedures as simple as routine dental cleanings and as complex as facial reconstruction following trauma or oncologic surgery.
History
Established in 2000.
Originally begun as Aggie Animal Dental Service and providing specialty care inside two general veterinary hospitals in San Francisco and Marin County, Aggie Animal Dental Center opened its current location in Mill Valley in 2013. Our staff, consisting of 2 board-certified dental specialists, a board-certified anesthesiologist, three Registered Veterinary Technicians, a technician assistant, and 2 client service representatives, strives to provide each pet and pet parent personalized service and unparalleled care.

Business Owner
Dr. Milinda Lommer earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California - Davis with Phi Zeta honors in 1995. She completed a 3-year residency in Dentistry & Oral Surgery in 1999 and became a board-certified specialist, a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College, in 2000. She also received the Peter Emily Outstanding Candidate Award from the AVDC in 2000. She remains on faculty at the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine on a volunteer basis as an Associate Clinical Professor. Aggie Animal Dental Center was named in memory of her first cat, who lived to be almost 20 years old.
