History

Established in 2019.

After 10 years practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Zay Satchu noticed an important trend -- the industry doesn't adequately support doctors, nurses and vet staff, which in turn, impacts the quality of care for pets. Dr. Zay sought out to develop a new kind of vet clinic that works better for pets and people alike.In June 2019, Bond Vet officially opened the doors to its first clinic. In the early days, we operated as an urgent care and walk-in clinic -- we saw a lot of GI issues, eye/ear infections and rashes. People and pets loved coming to Bond, and we were repeatedly asked, "Can you be my regular vet, too?"So, we made that happen. And over the past four years, we expanded our services to include routine exams, vaccines, dental cleanings, spays/neuters, specialty surgery, and other veterinary treatments. Today, we have clinics in NYC, Long Island, Connecticut, Boston, DC area and Chicago, better serving pets with convenient vet care that feels like a treat.
