Desert Care Animal Hospital strives hard to serve and educate our clients to the best of our ability. We see small animals as well as exotics, such as: avians, reptiles, and rodents. We provide the following services to pets: annual vaccinations, puppy and kitten packages, spays, neuters, and dentistry. We treat many special needs animals. At Desert Care Animal Hospital we are kind and compassionate, and want only the best for all of our furry friends. Desert Care Animal Hospital was established in October of 1991. The hospital is owned by Dr. Julie G. McClaine.

Business Owner
Dr. McClaine first started her career with animals at Cal Poly, Pomona and then moved on to complete her veterinary degree at UC Davis. After she left UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine she moved back to the high desert. It was not untill 1991 she started Desert Care Animal Hospital. Dr. McClaine's special interests include internal medicine, oncology and exotics. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and caring for her horse
