We are a full service hospital equipped with state of the art equipment.​Dr. Norman is a Board Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist. He has extensive training in internal medicine which allows him to perform ultrasonography of the chest or abdomen. The hospital is equipped with a rigid and flexible endoscopy to perform Rhinoscopy(nose), Bronchoscopy(lung), Gastroduodenoscopy(stomach/intestine) and Colonoscopy. Dr. D'Urso is a Board Certified Veterinary Cardiologist with extensive training in cardiology. She performs echocardiograms, EKG and general exams of the heart. As members of the community for the past 20 years, Dr. Brian Norman and his family understand that your pets are a part of your family. At Dog and Cat Hospital Calabasas, we offer state of the art care at affordable pricing. Our pet hospital is designed and equipped to provide general wellness exams, preventative care and the most advanced diagnostics and treatments in the unfortunate case that your pet becomes ill, while providing these services in a warm, comfortable, and safe environment. Our founder, Dr. Norman has extensive training and experience in all aspects of Veterinary Medicine. He is a ACVIM Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist with special interests in Ultrasonography and Endoscopy. We are excited to join the community and look forward to providing excellent veterinary care to you and your fur babies this coming year in January 2020!

Business Owner

Dr. Brian Norman is a California native from Orange County, California.

He attended UCLA and LMU. In 1999, Dr. Norman earned his DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Canada.  He completed an internship, and a 2n Internal Medicine residency at The California Animal Hospital.  He became a Board Certified in Veterinarry Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2005.   He practiced at The California Animal Hospital in West Los Angeles until 2012.  He spent 5 years at a corporate specialty hospital in the San Fernando Valley where he saw the downfalls of corporate medicine.  Dog and Cat Internal Medicine was formed in October of 2017.  Dog and Cat Hospital Calabasas opened in February 2020 designed to be a new veterinary hospital unlike any other in the area.

Dr. Norman has lived in SFV for over 20 years with his wife, Michelle, His daughters, Nicole and Natalie,  His son, Alex, and two pups, who fill their hearts with joy.
