Business Owner
Dr. Griggs grew up in northwest Houston and attended local schools. She graduated from The University of Houston with a BS in Biology in 1993, then transferred to Texas A&M University to pursue her life-long dream in veterinary medicine. She received a BS in Animal Science in 1995, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She worked at Forest West Animal Clinic as a technician while attending high school and college. Immediately after graduating, she was promoted to DVM. She purchased the clinic from Dr. David Tinkey in 2007. Dr. Griggs is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and Harris County Veterinary Medical Association. She spends her free time with her large extended family, her dog and cat, and travelling with her husband.
