Hi, I’m Prateek Bhargav, the owner of Happy Paws Happy Day! I started this business recently, but my journey began during the pandemic when I was struggling with mental health due to long work hours and a nonstop routine. I felt like a hamster on a wheel and needed a break. Some friends had gotten pets but didn’t have time to walk them, so I offered to help. Walking their dogs became my way to recharge, and I quickly realized how much I loved it. What started as a personal outlet turned into something bigger when friends encouraged me, saying, “There are pet parents out there who need your help.” That’s when Happy Paws Happy Day was born. For me, this isn’t just a business—it’s about the pets. I always say I have two clients: the pet parent and the pet. My goal is to provide dogs with the love, exercise, and attention they deserve while giving owners peace of mind.
