High Desert Animal Care Hospital opened in Palmdale, May 5, 1986 because Dr. Gay Naiditch saw a need for good veterinary care for all pets in the area.
Because she studied through the non-domestic animal track in school, she has the knowledge and the experience to treat all varieties of animals from birds to llamas. Dr. Naiditch graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of California, Davis, in 1982. After graduation she worked in Los Angeles and Sacramento areas, where for two years she concentrated on emergency medicine. She has been in the Antelope Valley since spring of 1985 and she loves it here.
She has been a animal lover since she was a child. After spending a full day taking care of clients' pets, she goes home to her ranch and spends time with her own menagerie of animals with everything from parrots to horses.
