Business Owner
Dr. Rachael Feigenbaum grew up on Cape Cod and developed a love of animals and the natural world from a very young age. She went to Wellesley College, where she majored in psychobiology and spent summers working in marine biology labs and veterinary clinics. Dr. Feigenbaum graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After graduation, Dr. Feigenbaum moved to San Francisco. She completed her certification in veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 2003, and has since been integrating Eastern and Western modalities into her practice. She founded Lotus Veterinary House Calls in 2008 because she found that her patients were much less stressed when cared for in their own homes. Dr. Feigenbaum lives in Bernal Heights with her 2 dogs, Millie and Murphy, her cat, Lou, and her son, Ivan. She enjoys hiking, making mosaic art, writing poetry, and playing the flute.
