Mayde Creek Animal Health Center originally opened its doors in 1983. In those days, the 1,200-square-foot veterinary facility was known as Aladdin Animal Clinic, and grew quickly. In 1994, Dr. Darren Williams purchased the practice and changed the name to Mayde Creek Animal Clinic. In 2001, we moved the veterinary clinic to our current 8,000 square-foot location in Katy, Texas and became known as Mayde Creek Animal Health Center. We are here to service the cities of Katy, TX, Houston, TX, Cypress, TX, Fulshear, TX, Hockley, TX, Richmond, TX, Tomball, TX, Sealy, TX, Sugar Land, TX, Bleiblerville, TX and more!

Dr. Williams has had a lifelong love of caring for pets and practiced medicine at animal hospitals in San Antonio and Houston before opening Mayde Creek Animal Health Center in 1994. Dr. Williams attended Texas A&M University and received his Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science in 1986. He continued his education at the Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. His professional interests include orthopedic surgery, endocrinology and cardiology. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Williams also serves on the legislative committee for the TVMA and is a member of the Lone Star College Veterinary Technology Program Advisory Committee. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for SIRE, Houston's Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
