History
Established in 2005.
Newton Animal Hospital (Newton, KS) opened in June 2006. However, it has a long history in the Newton community. The hospital was formed by merging two long-time Newton veterinary clinics - Town and County Animal Clinic and All Pets Veterinary Clinic. The new facility enhances the tradition of quality care by offering state-of-the-art veterinary services and a caring health care team. In addition to dogs and cats, our veterinarians treat horses, "furry pocket pets," goats, and sheep. Dr. Shane Tonn is co-owner of Newton Animal Hospital. A Kansas State University graduate, Dr. Tonn is an avid fan of the Wildcat sports teams! Dr. Tonn has been a trusted veterinarian in the Newton area for over 20 years. He originally owned two veterinary clinics in Newton which merged to become Newton Animal Hospital. His patients include dogs, cats and horses. Dr. Tonn enjoys fishing, hunting, horseback riding, working in his vegetable garden, and traveling to visit his three grown daughters.
