North Colony Animal Clinic is a full service veterinary practice. With 3 full time veterinarians Dr. Darbro, Dr. Timothy Bowe, and Dr. Kathleen Bowe we offer a range of services. From wellness exams, heartworm tests, vaccinatins, geriatric care, spay/neuter, boarding, grooming to emergency care, hospitalization, emergency surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries. We strive to exceed the expectations of our clients through a caring, responsive and professional staff.
History
Established in 1998.
Our clinic was founded in 1987 by Dr. Mitchell Moses. The clinics original name was Oaks Village Animal Clinic, and it was located in a 1650 square foot retail space across the street from our current location. Dr. Moses had small living quarters in the clinic, and actually lived at the clinic for the first year in business. Dr. Gregory Darbro purchased the clinic in January 1993. At that time the entire staff consisted of 1 receptionist/technician, and 1 kennel assistant. Dr. Timothy Bowe joined the clinic as a full partner in June 1999. Dr. Darbro and Dr. Timothy Bowe went to school together and made (and still make) a wonderful team for the community. Many of Dr. Bowe's clients followed him to North Colony Animal Clinic. Dr. Kathleen Bowe joined our clinic staff in March 2009 ,as the permanent third veterinarian, after 15 years of working as an emergency vet at the Emergency Animal Clinic of Collin County.
