The best, updated indoor animal care center the county has. They do amazing work considering the budget LA County provides them with. Their volunteers are amazing, polite and helpful.
Sure, other reviewers are unhappy it's not a no kill shelter or that they require proof of ownership and require the animal be neutered/spayed and chipped before the animal can be released. Blame societies "throw away " "disposable " attitude towards their animals and the out of control overpopulation by lazy people and backyard breeders. Most animals received are NOT neutered/spayed, chipped or licensed.
