We are Pet Camp. San Francisco's most trusted and beloved pet daycare and overnight pet boarding facility. We are a band of pet lovers and pet parents dedicated to providing your pet with a safe, fun and caring environment in your absence. We offer a range of both cat and dog pet care services. For the pups we offer: doggie daycare, overnight dog boarding, dog training services (Camper Cadet Program), Pet Camp Express pick-up & drop-off, and dog bathing services. Our Cat Safari location, is an all-inclusive cat boarding experience. Not only do we have spacious cat condos that have separate ventilation systems for each space, we have an outdoor Safari Solarium that allows your cat to explore in a safe and contained environment. For our puuurfect furry friends we offer: overnight cat boarding, cat grooming services (nail trims, brushing, etc.), spacious cat condos, and an outdoor solarium.

History

Established in 1997.

Once upon a time, we, Virginia Donohue and Mark Klaiman, had 9-to-5 careers. Our fantasy was to create an environment where we could bring our dogs to work every day - to re-create the fun of a neighborhood dog park, where it's always doggy social hour. We set up camp in May 1997. We've made improvements along the way and still make our decisions the same way: What would our pets like? That's led us to do some things that might seem wacky -- like importing a dog pool from England or installing $70,000 of grassy play yards -- but our campers love it! Our latest fantasy-come-true is Pet Camp's Cat Safari. We wanted to create an experience that let cats do what they love: go outside. Cat Safari, our just-for-cats adventure, features Safari Gardens that give your cat a taste of the jungle while safely in our care We are grateful to everyone who gives us the privilege of caring for their dogs and cats. In this fantasy, we knew we wanted a place that let pets do the things that they love to do. We wanted to provide individualized attention, love and care. We wanted to create the kinds of activities that would keep pets engaged during their stay. And we knew we wanted our business to be green and to give back to the community that sustains us.
