RabbitEARS Oakland was created by former volunteers of the original RabbitEARS, to continue and expand on the good work begun by the original. The EARS Group, Inc. is a domestic nonprofit registered with the CA secretary of state, and given rights to the RabbitEARS name.

As a volunteer for the original RabbitEARS, James fell in love with the mission of the business, and did not want it to end. He founded a charity, The EARS Group, Inc. with the support of other wonderful volunteers and loyal customers. The owner of the original gave her blessing, and rights to the name, to the charity. The new organization's mission is to expand on the legacy of the original, working to ens
