We are Chicago's First Center For Canine Enrichment - and we are thrilled and excited to be the first to take this groundbreaking step! We have moved beyond traditional daycare and enrichment add-ons. We have revamped our systems, daily schedule, play yards and added a skill-building component to our program to provide a higher level of care through a new robust enrichment program. Rockstar Pets provides the structure that dogs thrive on. Our Canine Coaches give your dog guidance, encouragement, and reinforcement.
History
Established in 2009.
In 2009, Elissa Ferguson and Alex Rodriguez began a pet sitting and dog walking service. The business grew, and in September 2011, Elissa and Alex opened a full-service doggie daycare and boarding facility. After 11 years (and two moves), Rockstar Pets' Canine Enrichment Center is located at 1717 N. Ashland Avenue with 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Rockstar Pets is the ideal place for your dog to enjoy all the benefits of an enrichment center: daycare, exercise, socialization, stimulation, and of course, love (we're staff, but also groupies!).

Elissa Ferguson's love of animals began at an early age when her family began taking in stray cats. Her desire to help homeless animals only grew stronger throughout her life, and even when Elissa's career veered toward art and advertising, she spent her spare time practicing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), rescuing and adopting out friendly stray dogs and cats and caring for her own brood of rescued and special-needs pets. In 2009, while working for Tree House Humane Society, Elissa ventured into the pet sitting and dog walking business. After years of expanding that business, Elissa is thrilled to finally have a canine enrichment center. The new Rockstar Pets center, caters to your pet's health - both physical and mental. It is Elissa's belief that everyone should have access to services that improve the health and disposition of their animals. Every pet deserves the Rockstar treatment!
