Established in 1970.

Located in San Rafael, CA, Terra Linda Veterinary Hospital is one of the oldest established animal care facilities in Marin County. Dr. Denise Adams-Berg, the new owner and primary care veterinarian, together with her husband and co-owner, Seth Berg, are excited to carry on the tradition of exceptional care -- while making your pet's experience better than ever. As passionate, hands-on owners of both the vet hospital and the pet resort next door, they believe deeply in the personal attention and high standards that only privately owned business can provide. After more than a decade of working toward practice ownership, Dr. Adams is proud to be at the helm of a truly independent veterinary hospital. Her journey to ownership has been shaped by persistence, resilience, and a deep belief in the value of privately owned veterinary medicine. Dr. Adams remains committed to her goal—not simply to own a clinic, but to create a space where patient care is personal, thoughtful, and never dictated by quotas or corporate benchmarks. As an owner, she values the ability to tailor care to each pet and family, fostering relationships built on trust and continuity.
