Being a neighborhood mom and pop pet store, we specialize in hand fed exotic birds. We also have a large selection of supplies for dogs, cats, small animals and some necessities for fish and reptiles. We offer bird grooming and avian gender testing.
History
Established in 1980.
The Animal Company is the oldest pet store in San Francisco. Rick and Ellen French took over the business in 2001 and after 10 years in the original location, moved to the heart of Noe Valley at the corner of 24th st and Castro st in Noe Valley.
