History
Established in 2012.
We started as Mobile Vet in 1993. The name was changed to Visiting Vet in 2012. Dr. Sybil Murray has run her house call veterinary service out of her home for the last 20 years. We provide comprehensive veterinary medical care in homes and businesses, eliminating the stress of a car ride, and saving time in the process. Also, there is much more time spent by the vet with the pet and owner than is typical in a clinic. We do examinations, vaccines, blood tests, environmental assessments, behavioral consultations, arrange for surgeries and xrays, as well as in home euthanasias. Dying at home is much more peaceful, surrounded by loved ones. Fearful pets (especially cats), big dogs, old pets, etc., all benefit from staying in their own environment and letting the vet come to them. Clients who are unable to drive for a variety of reasons also benefit from our visits. They can remain in charge of their pet's care even if they can no longer transport him or her to the clinic.
